TRAIL OF TEARS

El lider de la banda noruega, Ronny Thorsen , aclara la situación de la banda luego de la declaracion de sus musicos acerca de una disolucion: "Escribo las siguientes lineas con el fin de aclarar las noticias que han estado circulando estos dias. El 26 de noviembre finalizamos una gira por Mexico que debido a la pesima organizacion nos represento grandes perdidas monetarias. Esa mañana recibo la noticia que debido a esa situacion la banda se disolvia. Esto sin consultarme, por lo tanto les digo que Trail of Tears no esta muerto y seguira con una nueva formacion. Estoy avergonzado por como se dio esta situacion, hasta les ofreci hacerme cargo de todas las perdidas para que sigan en la banda, pero a ellos no les importa ni los fans que ya tenian tickets para nuestra gira europea ni todo el trabajo y dinero invertido en nuestro proximo album Existencia. Igualmente les deseo lo mejor por todos los gratos momentos vividos, siempre los considere mis amigos, mi familia y mis hermanos, Se escribieron grandes capitulos en la historia de Trail of Tears, pero quedan muchos mas por escribirse aun. Este no es el fin!

ANOREXIA NERVOSA

Según el guitarrista Stefan Bayle el futuro de la banda es incierto:
"Hace ya algún tiempo que no tienen noticias sobre Anorexia Nervosa y pienso que es hora de informarlos sobre el grupo. Un periodo de crisis siguió a la salida de nuestro cantante Hreidmarr, algo que nosotros no esperábamos. El tiempo que los miembros estábamos juntos, el sacrificio personal de cada uno en la banda, y la creciente dificultad de desarrollarnos y seguir adelante han sido varios de los
factores que, poco a poco, han ido corrompiendo la unidad y la integridad del grupo. Siempre he considerado a Anorexia Nervosa como una entidad, un clan donde cada uno de nosotros compartíamos los mismos valores y nos desarrollábamos con el mismo objetivo en la mente.
Realmente esta no es la situación actual. Además, ninguno de los cantantes que se han presentado a las audiciones tiene la capacidad de reanimar ese espíritu. Como resultado de esto, me siento incapaz
de componer un verdadero nuevo álbum de Anorexia Nervosa. Por lo tanto he decidido colocar al grupo en 'stand-by'. Tenemos que recargar nuestras pilas, dedicar nuestro tiempo y energías a otras actividades y encontrar el camino que nos motivó en otro tiempo. Prefiero no llamar a esto una disolución, por que pueden estar seguros que Anorexia Nervosa volverá algún día. Simplemente no puedo predecir
cuando sucederá esto. Deseamos agradecer a todos aquellos que nos apoyaron durante este tiempo. Experimentamos algunos momentos realmente buenos y por ello estaremos eternamente agradecidos".

Black Sabbath con Dio?

Hay rumores de que Tony Iommy, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward y Ronnie Dio
uniran fuerzas otra vez bajo el nombre de Heaven And Hell, para tocar en
varios festivales en 2007. Ellos no pueden usar el nombre de Black Sabbath,
ni Black Sabbath con Dio, debido a que cuando volvio Ozzy en 1996 les hizo
firmar un contrato de que sin el no pueden usar el nombre.

Se suspendió el show de VISION DIVINE

Este es el comunicado de prensa de Icarus:

Por medio de la presente, informamos que se ha cancelado el Tour Sudamericano de Vision Divine. Los motivos que llevaron a la cancelación del Tour Sudamericano son ajenos a nuestra empresa y son exclusiva responsabilidad del tour manager encargado de dicha gira, el Sr. Oscar Mendoza.
Cumplimos entonces en anunciarles que por ende, el show en Buenos Aires, pautado para el 29 de septiembre, en El Teatro de Flores (Rivadavia 7800) ha sido CANCELADO.
Icarus Music se compromete a devolver el dinero a aquellos que hayan adquirido su ticket. La devolución del mismo se hará presentándose en el mismo local donde se adquirió la entrada.
Aquellos que hayan adquirido el combo: entrada + cd y deseen quedarse con el disco recibirán el valor correspondiente a la entrada. También podrá devolverse el combo entero.

La banda brasilera deberá cambiar de nombre después de la gira de difusión de su ultimo álbum Dante XXI, según dejo bien claro IgorCavalera, ex baterista de la banda. Según el músico esto fue acordado entre él y el resto de la banda. El bajista Paulo Jr., sin embargo, dijo que no estaba enterado de ningún acuerdo en relación al nombre.

Jesse pintado

El guitarrista de Terrorizer y ex miembro de Napalm Death falleció el domingo pasado en un hospital de Holanda según comunicó Century Media. La semana pasada se edito un CD nuevo de los reunidos Terrorizer : Darker Days Ahead. El trabajo de Pintado con Napalm Death fue importante para definir el sonido del grindcore y su influencia en las nuevas generaciones es total.

El EP durara 27 minutos, y además del tema The Sons Of Odin, traerá

Jon Nodtveidt, lider y fundador de Dissection, se suicido el miércoles 17 de agosto en su departamento de Hasselby, un barrio de Estocolmo, Suecia.Jon, de 31 años, se mato con un disparo en la cabeza, su cuerpo estaba rodeado por velas y tenia a su lado una Biblia Satanica.Antes del ritual de muerte, envió cartas para su padre y su novia.En 1997 Jon fue detenido y paso 7 años en la cárcel por el asesinato de un homosexual, crimen que inspiro un libro y una película llamada Keillers Park, que es el nombre del parque donde se cometió el asesinato.La banda emitió un comunicado donde decían:"Jon era un hombre que vivía su vida de acuerdo a sus propias convicciones, y eligió acabar con ella con sus propias manos.Termino con ella cuando sintió que su destino estaba sellado.Aquellos que lo vimos los últimos días sabemos que estaba mas felizy mas fuerte que nunca.Estamos convencidos que dejo este mundo de mentiras con una gran carcajada, sabiendo que cumplió todo lo que se propuso.El vacío que dejo será ocupado por la esencia sombría que dejo en su música."

El baterista de Pantera y Damageplan ha armado un nuevo proyecto. La banda ha estado componiendo material en Texas, para un eventual álbum debut a editarse en el 2007.Un nombre ya ha sido elegido, pero no fue revelado. La alineación, además de Vinnie, es la siguiente:

El líder de Blind Guardian hablo sobre las diferencias entre " A Night At The Opera" y el nuevo álbum "A twist in the Myth"."Teníamos la sensación de que debíamos hacer un cambio en las voces porque en los últimos Cds, el trabajo que hicimos en eso fue estupendo.Era el momento de idear algo nuevo, por eso en el nuevo álbum las voces están más cerca del material antiguo, mas thrasheras. El álbum es retorcido pero no es tan complejo. si hubiéramos seguido la línea del ultimo la gente se hubiera quejado del exceso de armonías, así que seguimos el camino opuesto, el álbum es bien agresivo".

Finalizaron la producción de su próximo álbum, que se llamara Griefshire.El CD será un tributo a Sabine, su cantante, que falleció el 7 de julio después de sufrir un derrame cerebral.Ella ya había grabado sus partes en el disco. “Sabine se refería a Griefshire como su bebe, su máximo deseo era ver ese CD en la calle” según informa un comunicado de la banda.

No se equivoca el hombre que ensaya distintos caminos para alcanzar su meta, y aún así nunca logra llegar a ella; Se equivoca el que, por temor a equivocarse, no camina.

Hoy he decidido salir a buscar a Txus. A ese niño grande con pinta de duro, que se ha perdido en algún lugar del camino de baldosas amarillas. Perdido entre tanta polémica y falsa pose, perdido entre tantos años de duro trabajo.
El verdadero viaje de renovación personal no consiste en buscar nuevos paisajes, sino en tener nuevos ojos... Por eso necesito un alto en el camino, para ir a recoger los trocitos de mí que extravié en algún rincón de algún poema o alguna canción.
No busquéis razones oscuras ni retorcidas; amo a Mägo de Oz más que a mi vida, y a mis compañeros les debo el haber crecido llorando y madurando juntos. Ellos son de las cosas más bellas y hermosas que tengo. ¡¡SON MIS HERMANOS!!
Simplemente necesito descansar y amueblar de nuevo algunas habitaciones de mi Alma. Mientras seguiré componiendo y trabajando para la banda.

El proyecto NEMHAIN comenzará este fin de semana a grabar su 1er demo. La grabación servirá como preproducción para le primer álbum del grupo. NEMHAIN es un proyecto del baterista sueco Adrian Erlandsson (Cradle of Filth), con su esposa Morrigan Hel, modelo también conocida como Amber England, seudónimo que utiliza en los films porno que protagoniza. En este proyecto, Erlandsson utiliza el sedónimo The Swede. El 28 de Agosto harán su debut en vivo en la cuidad de Londres.
